What's New - Village Voices
Concert
What an evening! FROLIC seems to specialize in fantastic concerts. This time it was Village Voices, with guest flautist Katie Alcock.
A great choice and variety of music and the voices blended together
so well. The audience was held spell-bound for the whole time,
marvelling especially at Katie Alcock's talent and greatly enjoying
the opportunity to join in with 'You raise me up', 'Rule Britannia!'
and 'Jerusalem' at the end.
We are very grateful to the director Clare Langstone for offering to come to raise money for FROLIC and
organising the programme and we really appreciated the time, effort
and talent of the 40 or so performers.
During the interval
there was a marvellous array of home baking. Our thanks go to all
who contributed food and served the drinks and to those who arranged
the furniture and put it back on Saturday.
We thank everyone
for their support; £400 was raised in total.
